What is an OSRS Account Value Calculator?
The OSRS account value calculator is one of the many tools that we have to help anybody get an idea of the value of their account. Besides OSRS, we also have value calculators for other popular online games such as Black Desert Online, Apex Legends, and more!
Why You Should Use Our OSRS Account Value Calculator
An account value calculator is an interesting tool to give players a visualization of how much their account would be worth. Use it to compare yourself against your friends and boast about who’s account is the best based on its ‘value’.
How Much is a Maxed OSRS Account Worth?
A maxed account means that the character in the account has already reached the max level in all skills. This also means that the gear that’s equipped into the character will be one of the more sought-after items in the game. Maxed accounts tend to have a very high ‘worth’ based on the account value calculator – often reaching over $100!
Why Does Skill Matter When Checking the Value?
You’ve probably noticed that besides the amount of gold and attributes of the character in the account has, points distributed in all of the skills available in OSRS are taken into consideration. If you didn’t know, there are 23 skills to master in OSRS, all of which start off at level 1. Achieving skill mastery in one or more skills can garner a much higher account value. Accounts that have mastered all of the skills in OSRS can fetch higher prices when being sold as it takes approximately 1700 hours or more to have them all level 99.
Ironman vs. Normal Account
If you take a peek at an OSRS accounts offer page, you’ll usually see sellers offering Ironman accounts at a higher price compared to regular accounts. This is because when you’re an Ironman, you are a lot more diverse when it comes to getting items compared to regular accounts where you can just farm your way and buy the items you want. Being an Ironman in OSRS isn’t everyone’s cup of tea though, so it’s understandable if you want a regular account instead.
While Ironman mode was released back in 2014, many players have yet to try it out. While it may not be everyone’s cup of tea, it does provide a new dynamic to the game that changes the way you play, making what is an old game feel like a fresh, new experience. Ironman accounts are essentially the same as normal (standard) accounts, but with a few restrictions to make gameplay harder such as no trading, no experience gained from PvP, no use of Accept Aid, no entering player-owned houses, and a few others.
Hardcore Ironman accounts are even harder to retain, as you only have one life. Once this life is lost, the account is downgraded to standard Ironman status. Ultimate Ironman accounts have the same restrictions as the other types, plus a few more; no banking, creating item sets, receiving Managing Miscellania resources, sending Servants to banks or sawmills, keeping items on death, protect items prayers or using seed vaults. Dying as an Ultimate Ironman will not reset its status.
To upgrade a normal account to an Ironman account, you need to talk to the Iron Man Tutor on Tutorial Island. Accounts can be reverted to standard by speaking with the Iron Man Tutor in Lumbridge.
