Dungeonborne introduces a whole new system called Heirlooms that lets players carry on a form of progression even through death. While you don't keep the items, you retain all the upgrades you get, so they’re worth investing in. Legendary Heirlooms are rare equipment that require specific materials for crafting. This guide will show players how to collect all three of them.
All Legendary Heirlooms
We currently have three Legendary Heirlooms available in the game. Each provides some of the best stats available in Dungeonborne, but you need to craft them by finding their corresponding fragments first. However, the bonuses provided by these items make them very worthwhile to farm. Here are all the currently available Dungeonborne Legendary Heirlooms:
- Divine Crown (Legendary Generic Helmet Heirloom)
- Three Defense Level
- +9% Damage
- +14.4% Max Life
- +150% EXP Gain
- Moon Pendant (Legendary Necklace Heirloom)
- Three Defense Level
- +2 All Attributes
- +9% All Elemental Resistances
- +150% EXP Gain
- Divine Sword (Legendary Sword Heirloom)
- Three Attack Level
- 124 Physical Damage
- 75% Blocked Damage Reduction
- +10 Movement Speed
- +5 Dexterity
- +18% Critical Strike Chance
- +75% EXP Gain
Most Heirlooms can be repeatedly crafted after you lose them through death. Fortunately, you still retain any upgrades obtained with the respective heirloom slot. Some players have mentioned that Legendaries might be a one-time loot fragment, but it is yet to be confirmed. If you have Legendary Heirlooms on your person, it is best to play it safe and try as hard as possible to survive your runs.
How to Get All Legendary Heirloom Fragments
Players can find the fragments in varying locations and must fulfill specific requirements to ensure that these materials will indeed spawn. However, at least one will require good RNG because it’s only a chance drop from particular interactions. Here is how you can obtain all three Legendary Heirloom:
Moon Pendant
The Moon Pendant is the easiest Legendary Heirloom to unlock because you only need to go to the Training Room to get its fragment. However, you must enter this area while the full moon is up. You'll know it's time to visit the Training Room when you can see the full moon on the camp screen.
During this time, you must head into the zone and look for an opening with the moon. An interactable shrine should be inside, which will grant you the fragment. Players should ensure they get the Moon Pendant material immediately because the moon phase changes over time. You must wait for the next full moon if you missed your chance to get it.
Divine Crown
The Divine Crown fragment is the only piece you can randomly obtain. It can appear in various locations in Sinner's Map, but some players mentioned that the northmost center room has the most frequent spawn rate. Unlike the Moon Pendant, you don't need to activate special conditions to obtain the item.
The main takeaway when trying to get the Divine Crown is that only one fragment can spawn per map. If someone already took the one available in your run, you must do another to get a chance. You can loot the item from the statue in the northernmost center room, which should be in the form of a hand. Ensure you can extract successfully after obtaining this, so you won't risk losing it.
Divine Blade
The Divine Blade is the trickiest one to get because you need both the Moon Pendant and Divine Crown to get it. You must farm the first two Legendary Heirlooms before you aim for this one. Once you've finished obtaining the first two, return to Sinner's End.
You can locate the fragment at the bottom center room on the map. It should be in a flower coffin at the center of the area. It would help to have both the Moon Pendant and Divine Crown in your inventory because you’ll need both to open it. However, you should note that doing so will consume both the Moon Pendant and Divine Crown. You need to refarm both of them to use them again.
Note: Make sure you have other items that can replace the Moon Pendant and Divine Crown once you sacrifice them for the Divine Sword.
