How to Get Stellar Jades in Honkai: Star Rail

Stellar Jades Honkai Star Rail

Stellar Jade is one of the many currencies in Honkai: Star Rail, but it’s debatably one of the most important since it’s used to purchase the coveted Star Rail Special Passes. In this sense, Stellar Jades can be considered the lifeblood of any player. Honkai: Star Rail usually gives enough of the currency for you to start an early hoard via quests, but you’ll only be able to get so much before you run out of missions to do. Lucky for you, there are plenty of other sources for you to get your hands on them—so much so that it’s hard to keep track of them at times.

In this guide, I’ll be going over the many methods you can use to earn Stellar Jades in Honkai: Star Rail.

Do Your Main Missions Until You Finish Them

The main story is the core part of Honkai: Star Rail, so it would be a shame if you just continuously ignore it. Doing this will unlock most of the systems after finishing specific parts of the story. Granted, there might be times when you need to reach a certain Trailblaze level to continue, but at least you’ll get a healthy amount of Stellar Jades after finishing a quest.

The Stellar Jades you can get from the main missions range from 30 to 60. They’re one-time rewards only, though, since the story is limited. Thankfully, the developers usually add a couple of main story quests whenever the game updates, so you’ll have the chance to get more of the currency.

Don’t Forget to Claim Your Rewards in Daily Training

Once you finish Honkai: Star Rail’s main story, Daily Training will become your primary source of Stellar Jades. These missions are the same version of Genshin Impact’s Daily Commission, except that they’re integrated with the core gameplay loop of Honkai: Star Rail. Most of the objectives from Daily Training require you to do things you already usually do. These range from breaking enemy Toughness bars, salvaging relics, completing a run in the Cavern of Corrosion, and other similar activities.

You can get up to 60 Stellar Jades and 1,000 Trailblaze EXP from Daily Training. Best of all, you don’t need to break your back doing them, as they take no more than five minutes to complete. So always try to check at least what your Daily Training missions are once you log into the game.

Go On Warring Expeditions

Warring Expeditions are one of the many side activities you can do in the game to earn Stellar Jades. It puts you on Fragmentum cleanup duty on the frontlines of Belobog and Herta Space Station. You can only do this activity once you’ve completed the story missions in every major region.

If you’re in Belobog, speak with the robot Aide (next to Captain Dunn) or Liaison Officer Williams after completing their adventure missions. Meanwhile, those in Herta Space Station can go to the Storage Zone and talk to the Security Department Member after completing the Signs of Fragmentum mission.

Each challenge in the Warring Expeditions have objectives you’ll need to complete, such as preventing allies from being knocked down no more than two times or finishing a battle within 12 turns. You can earn up to 60 Stellar Jades, depending on the difficulty level of the challenge. For now, Warring Expeditions can’t be repeated to get more Stellar Jade rewards, but hopefully, it’ll become repeatable soon.

Prep and Take On the Simulated Universe

The Simulated Universe is like a game within a game. It’s a rogue-like game mode within Honkai: Star Rail with its own standalone rewards and points system. Herta’s metaverse offers bountiful rewards, provided you can meet its point requirements. The rewards include Credits, Star Rail Passes, Immersifiers, and yes—Stellar Jades. You can get up to 3,500+ Stellar Jades if you put in the elbow grease to unlock Blessing Index and Curio entries. And how do you know that, you ask? Simple! By playing the game mode.

There is one caveat to this method, though: if you’re unprepared, you’ll get wrecked. However, if you bring a good team with decent Light Cones and Relics before diving in, you’ll be reaping those goodies in no time.

Participate in Limited-Time Events

Hoyoverse constantly offers free Stellar Jades during a patch via special and seasonal events, so it would be a shame not to take advantage of them. Once you’ve reached the endgame, limited-time events will be your primary way to get Stellar Jades. During Honkai: Star Rail’s launch, the devs gave us tons of normal and special Star Rail Passes, plus 1,600 Stellar Jades, in the Trailblazing Will event.

These events are typically highlighted on Honkai: Star Rail’s social media, so I recommend keeping an eye on their pages to prevent from missing out. Besides pulls and Stellar Jades, you can also get Light Cones, Relics, and EXP materials.
